Courses


The Department offers a three-year BSc Undergraduate Programme in Geology, the syllabus so designed to cater to novices of the subject. A student aspiring to become a geologist need not have offered Geology at Std XI and XII level.
The three years degree programme has 120 academic and 10 nonacademic Credits. The academic courses are divided into(I) Foundation courses (II) Core and Elective courses.
(I)                 Foundation Courses:Foundation courses are those that provide basics skills which can be transferred across disciplines.
