STUDENTS ALONG WITH FACULTY MEMBERS AT NCAOR, VASCO. The students of SYBSc accompanied by Assistant Professor Malcolm Afonso visited National Centre For Antarctic And Ocean Research (NCAOR) on 4th of October 2017. On arrival at NCAOR the students were welcomed and briefed on the works done by NCAOR by Dr. Swati Nagar, After that the students got an opportunity to meet and talk to Dr Rahul Mohan, HOD- Antarctic Science and he is also doing his current research activities in the field of Marine Geology. He asked the students about their interest in geology and enlightened them by sharing his knowledge with them. Later, a session was taken by Dr. Mahesh B.S , Research Scientist on the topic 'Paleoclimatology'. He briefed the students about the ancient weather and helped them understanding past climate.     Our Tigers Mr. Reaston Cardozo (Goalkeeper) and Allan Fernandes (Defender), Ty.Bsc Geology, helped the College Futsal team to secure   runners up position at Intercollegiate Futsal Tournament VLASTOS 2017 organized by Nirmala Institute of Education. Mr. Allan Fernandes also earned the prestigious Best Player of the Tournament Award..

Guest Speaker Dr. Sohini Ganguly Delivering her Lecture on the topic  ''Magmatism and Crust Generation in Diverse Tectonic Regimes'' The installation ceremony of the Nebulites Club committee members for academic year 2017-2018 was held on 22 nd September, 2017. The function was held in the lower auditorium. Various colleges were invited to attend the same. The function was compered by class representative of Nebulites club Miss. Vidiksha Fernandes.
